Motivation for Formulation
Founded in 1953, our company has been manufacturing and developing detergents and toiletry products that are indispensable in our daily lives. As we approach the 70th anniversary of our founding, we have decided to create a corporate identity with the aim of achieving further growth for our 100th anniversary and the next 70 years.
Path to Formulation
This project was launched in 2021. After numerous cross-departmental workshops and exchanges of opinions, we decided that our purpose is "to be deeply involved in people's lives through manufacturing that is close to their true feelings. This purpose embodies our intention to create products that more deeply resonate with our customers’ needs by applying the expertise we have developed in product design.
The Intent behind the Logo
The new corporate logo consists of "a child and an adult" and "a smiling face". The “i” in Daiichi is highlighted in blue to express the company's “love” for our customers, products, and employees. In line with our newly formulated the purpose, we will continue to be a manufacturing company that stays close to our customers throughout their lives and brings smiles to their faces with love. We expressed that emotion through a warm and inviting logo design.
